Created in 1969, the Press Club of Baton Rouge promotes the news profession and provides opportunities for members of the press to communicate with each other, their sources and the general public.

General Information

The Press Club of Baton Rouge has weekly Monday luncheon meetings at Drusilla Catering Place with a sit-down meal served at 12:15 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The speaker goes on at 12:15 p.m., and the meetings are over at 1 p.m. Cost for the lunch is $25 for Press Club members and $30 for nonmembers.

If you are interested in joining the Press Club, please fill out a membership application and mail it and the appropriate dues to the organization’s post office box. Or, you can join in person at a meeting.
